GoDaddy Retires Workspace Email

GoDaddy webmail login screen

GoDaddy first started sending notifications to clients back in 2019 that they were going to retire Workspace email. Workspace email was the free email service that came with your domain name back in the day.

If you’ve received a notification from GoDaddy that they are migrating your Workspace email to Office 365, here’s what you need to know:

Read the following links provided by GoDaddy about your move:

My Workspace Email is moving to Microsoft 365

Free Workspace Email is no longer supported

Contact GoDaddy Support to ask them what you need to do on your end to make this transition seamless. They will migrate your emails, but if you are using Outlook or another mail program to access them, you will need to make setting changes on your computer and phone to access your email.

If you’ve only used an online login to access email, they will most likely provide you with a new login link when the migration is completed.

If you have IT or email support, forward your GoDaddy notification to that person and ask for their help if you need it.

WebCami Site Design stopped providing email support about a decade ago. Email and IT support services are best provided by a professional IT provider that understands email options and migrations. If you need someone to help you, I have a great, trusted partner to refer you to.
