Meet my client: Gary Madsen has been a do-it-yourself web designer for years to support his Utah based UTV service center business. He first reached out to Jennifer Bourn, a web designer he had been following online, to help him with a new site. Jennifer has changed the focus of her business and I happened to be one of her students. She made the introduction and Gary and I dived into building a new website.
What was needed: Gary had a static HTML website that wasn't responsive. On his own, he had also launched a WordPress blog. He knew he needed to combine these efforts and decided to make an investment in a new, custom website.
Our solution: We decided to launch his website on his original domain name because it had domain authority on Google. We migrated his blog posts to the new WordPress website. In addition, we installed Beaver Builder to design the website and make his updates easier to tackle. Finally, Gary and I scheduled an online training using Zoom so I could show him the ropes.
Proven results: Gary blogged on his own within a couple of weeks of launching the site. His success was supported with our online training and the video tutorials that were available to him in his dashboard. Shortly thereafter, Gary started to see a marked increase in traffic to his website.
Remember this! If you have a non-responsive website and a separate blog, you might want to consider consolidating your efforts into one amazing website. If you are in this situation and would like to talk, please contact me.
WebCami was referred to me by a very well known designer and Cami did not disappoint.
Cami helped me through the many steps to get my information in a webpage that would be a standout design but most importantly she designs it so the flow of information is continuous and very easy to navigate.
Hiring out the website was a big decision for my small business, I have built my own websites for my businesses in the last 8 years and thought that they were OK, but when it was time to have a responsive site that incorporated a blog that's when I found out it was time to get a professional to take over.
When Cami explained to me that we are starting with a blank page and putting it all together from scratch that's when I realized this is a bigger project that requires time and understanding from both sides of the build along with a lot of work from the both of us.
Along the journey you start to understand the steps and process it takes to make sure everything is working correctly and the content is going to help your customers understand what you do and sell.
I love the new website and especially knowing that every word on it is my own thoughts and with WebCami design it is selling while I am sleeping!
It has only been up and running for about six weeks, We are getting almost 10 times the views in a day that my old website received.
Thank you, Cami, for all your help along the way and your continued support into the future.
