Showbox Presents Foo Fighters & Sonic Highways

I’m the luckiest web designer in Seattle! Why? Because I took the day off on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I took the day off but I couldn’t quite stay away from the computer. I did a blog post and of course, I had to make sure by BLOG to Facebook automation worked and that’s when my day changed.

There is was… a post from Showbox. Tickets were going on sale for Foo Fighters at the Showbox at the Market – AT EASY STREET – for a surprise Friday show at a small venue. I did a quick share hoping friends would see it, and I was out! Out of the house so fast I couldn’t remember if I locked the door. And I was the 15th person to get a wristband for tickets. Hours later I left with my receipt after spending $50 for two tickets for what I knew would be the best concert of my life. And friends Lora , Keith, and Wendy got there in time to get wristbands, too.  New friends were made.  We were all the happiest people in Seattle that day.

Oh, now I have to wait until FRIDAY!  So, Thanksgiving pies had to be different, right?  FOO PIES!

And when Friday finally arrives – two recon trips downtown to check out the scene.  The first before 8am and the next at 3pm.

It was a miserable day in Seattle.  POURING!  So glad I made the early trip to see FOO on the marquee.

Best concert of my life.  I may never go see a live show again.
