Introducing My Client:
Dawn Schaper, a previous President of the West Seattle Rotary Club, reached out to WebCami Site Design in the fall of 2020 for a much-needed website update. With a history spanning 70 years, the Rotary Club was ready to modernize its online presence and boost engagement within the community.
The Task at Hand:
The West Seattle Rotary’s existing website was outdated, both in design and functionality. The backend software was no longer compatible with current WordPress updates, leaving the site vulnerable to security risks and limiting its usability. A comprehensive overhaul was needed to create a more engaging and secure platform for members and visitors alike.
A Team Approach:
We redesigned the Rotary Club’s website using the Beaver Builder framework, delivering a custom layout that included a dynamic event calendar and ensured a seamless experience across all devices. The updated design makes it easy for users to find information and for the club to post events. Additionally, WebCami Site Design now provides monthly updates as part of an ongoing care plan, allowing the club to focus more on their community initiatives.
Tangible Outcomes:
The new website has greatly improved usability, making information and events more accessible. With in-person events on the horizon, the updated site is set to be a powerful tool for attracting new members. The integration of Classy for donations further enhances the club’s ability to support its fundraising efforts.
