A WordPress theme change that removed an unused shopping cart
Meet my client: Black Pine Spas is a retail spa store located in Edmonds, Washington. Owner Rob Kaplan was looking to update his website and simplify the site navigation for his online visitors.
What was needed: We needed to widen the profile of the site so it had greater impact on mobile devices. We also needed to trim the options for site visitors and remove an unused shopping cart system.
Our solution: We chose to use the Beaver Builder theme to create a very customized and updated design and used Beaver Builder plugin to build each page template. We also entered extensive 301 redirects so the site didn't lose any Google placement in the transition.
Proven results: One main feature is the ability to highlight upcoming store events and sales on the website with ease. With the WebCami Page Builder, we are able to save modules for those events and activate them when needed.
Remember this! You can't forget to use 301 redirects when changing the structure of a website navigation.
